Haha, that's all I can really say! >w< Even though I'm bogged down with work, having a hard time with friends, it's all alright, man.

I happened to get Nayeli and Yanixa's myspace addresses, but... one of the emails didn't work... and the other said that it was some 20 year old in South Carolina.. or something. xD

Meh, whatever. I guess you could say shame on me for not keeping up with my anime. Well, not exactly. I have been partially keeping up with the new shows this season.. and..
meh.. Buso Renkin turning into an anime? Blech. >_>;;;;
I am mildly interested in.. er.. what's it called... Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion.. and ... Pumpkin Scissors..

Whatever, it's not like I have time to be watching anime, anyways. ._.;
On the other side of things, Mr. Kunutsy(is that how you spell his name..? xD) told me to get started on a project... Shoud I..? Nah.. well, on the other hand...
I've been brainstorming a couple of neat ideas for a doujinshi... but nah...

I don't know, dang it. I caught a cold on Friday, was out in the cold in that parade thingy, went to the dance with a sore throat for only one hour.. but I liked it. 8D

I don't know if I'm going to do well at play practices tomorrow. I'm probably gonna sound all stuffy and whatnot. But whatever. It's something I devoted myself to. -_^;
Oh, one more tidbit of info. Paprika(by Satoshi Kon, creator of Perfect Blue, Millenium Actress, and Paranoia Agent) is coming to Chicago.. for the International Film Festival..? Meh, I'd love to see that. But I don't really know how my folks are going to like it. And, double dang, it costs around ten bucks per ticket. But there's steak dinner after the movie.. I think it costs around 100 bucks.

Well, I think that I just royally screwed up at school today. Me and my big mouth. -_-'

See, I got into an arguement with my... "friend"... (name hidden :p)..
..and then I had algebra.. and this dude I know sat next to me. I thanked him for doing that because my other friend was sitting by my first friend today(things get confusing, eh? xD). I hope he didn't take that the wrong way. -_-'
Yup, then someone thought we were going out, durn it. But I said I didn't like him. xD I hope he's not offended or anything. ;x But, dang, we were cracking up for all of algebra because it was funny for some reason to talk about my personal interest in guys. xD
Actually, to be true, I haven't liked a guy.. since.. 2 years. o_o I think that's really a problem.
..and the dude said he was going to introduce me to a guy who wants to date me. wth..? o_o'

whatever, enough dull stuff.
Bleach and Trinity Blood were on [as] on the 8th. Anyone catch them? I only taped Bleach. ._. Pretty good; hopefully B&N will restock the manga now. :/

Well, what can you say? I don't know when in the world I was planning to update my xanga, but since I gave my username out, might as well. ;x

I'm not really the type to talk about my personal life on here.. we all have myspace for that, neh? :x but whatever. I just started school. It's.. okay. I don't want to jinx my luck here. -_-;

Let's just tune in on the news.

November 9th is the first day Bleach and Trinity Blood air on [adult swim]. I'll see you there. ;o

Crayon Shinchan has already started airing on [as], but I have yet to see it. Hope the "americanized" version isn't stupid. :/

I believe .hack//roots ends on episode 26... and it's already at 21.. ;_; *sobs*

On other notes, I received my .hack//roots cd today. Yeah, it was funky and all, but what happened to my favorite song? ;_; I don't remember the lyrics, so nobody will know what I'm talking about. :p Maybe when I get my boxed set that Bandai(YESH! :D) releases, I'll write 'em down.

Meh, on other, other notes, I'm lagging on my Naruto scanslations, my reading of Shonen Jump AND Shoujo beat(;_;!),.. and I have around 6 manga on hold.
Dang, I just don't have any time to read them! :/ And I'm gonna have to pay late fees on my Cromartie High and Evangelion DVDs I rented. -_-

...No, I'm not dead. :D I'm back after a strange renewal of interest in neopets. ;x

            Dang, there are so many things I'd like to write, but they all have their time. For now, though, let me talk about the new manga I got. :D I just went to the B&N today to check out what's new... well, yes, basically I was only there to buy my Tsubasa 10 and Newtype, but I happened to find something that caught my interest.
A new tokyopop manga called "The voices of a distant star"...
At first, I only thought, "Cool name!" and checked it out. XD ..but when I read the back, I realized I'd heard the storyline before. :x It's the manga adaption of the famous Makoto Shinkai directed movie! Dur.. >_>;

     I probably posted this before, but he's working on a new promising looking project. :D
Byousoku 5 Centimeter - a chain of short stories about their distance.

Well, back to our story. :x I started reading the manga while having a cappucino.. and to say the least, it was sad and addicting. Unfortunately, I didn't finish all of it while in the bookstore(<--for shame, darn it! XD) but my parents agreed that I could get it! Yesh! XD I still have yet to finish it, though. :x Another book I wanted to buy is The Law of Ueki. Meh, I remember reading a not-so-good review about it(maybe in Newtype..? or ANN..), but from what I read so far from it.. it has the kind of goodness that attracts me to Zatch Bell. Meh, I'll get that next time. :x

..and for Newtype.. there's practicallt no explanation needed there. :D Except for one thing. They have Papuwa episode 1 on their DVD! XD ... As for what it's about, just read Shelf Life. Lets just hope that it wasn't wrong of me to hype up an unknown anime that I haven't watched yet.. in hope that tomatoes won't get thrown at me. :x

            On other information, I've developed a new interest in American-made haikus... from a used book... I bought at a used bookstore. :x

             Well, I'm back from taking a bit a break to start off on a new route in life.... :/ </end sarcasm>

Bascially, I'm done with getting through last month's Newtype, which has spurred up my interest in AnimeNetwork.. let's not even talk about the Funimation channel... -_-'
See, it almost seems impossible right now for channels like that to air in the lone state of Illinos. :x Even the golden chance of AN's on demand anime was ripped away from me because our Comcast pack doesn't come with pay per view.. -_-
               Actually, I was interested in two series in particular, being Yugo the Negotiator and Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok.
...Basically, I wanted to see Yugo because it was a project one of the creators of my how to draw manga books was involved with. (<-- that was a complex, run on sentence.. o_o')
..and MDLR... because I read the manga, of course! ^__^

            I'll use this time to talk about my opinions of MDLR 1.. Being an ADV manga, it probably doesn't have large chances of being completely translated..(Dec 12, 2012?!) but oh well. :p
       I learned a couple of things from this book. Firstly, if you happen to be a reader who enjoys very simple and understandable things, you wouldn't really get this book. As for me, I bought Vol. 1 with no knowledge of the series whatsoever and was overwhelmed with all these weird terms I've never heard before. o_o; I'm not sure if you were supposed to see the anime first.. (<--due to any chance of watching the anime being taken away from me.. :P), but after a while, the series becomes quite enjoyable.
       Basically, MDLR follows the adventures of a Loki, a god who left the world of the gods to become human... in a godly sort of way. ^^;
..so, on earth, Loki sets up a detective agency.. to investigate the paranormal? :x or something like that. Along on his adventures, he meets all sorts of people, from other godly people to people being possessed by Odin, who wants to kill him. XD

   While I love the storyline, I don't think I'd like this manga if it weren't for the great characters who flesh it out. Figuring that Loki's children say that he used to be a big trickster, he seems nothing like it now. :x ..and seeing Narugami with his passion for Mjollnir.. his magical sword... :x
..yeah, well, I don't think I'd be the best to explain it very well. ^___^;

          Random News!!
   One of the best Answerman columns I've ever read is out. Thank goodness for the absence of yaoi and yuri in our rant.. >_>; ..but the rant did seem to be a sort of way for the otaku veterans to vent out their frustrations on the know-it-all newbies who sit on the floor at Walden Books and read manga. :P Yes, I'm not a big fan of those people either.. ..but there are some who might fit me into the know-it-all category... ._.

And last, but not least, Toonami Jetstream is out today, when it was supposed to premere Monday. :P Actually, I first heard about Jetstream in my Jump, where they were constantly advertising it, saying, "If you haven't heard about us, you've been living under a rock!!1 8D"...

Well, whatever. I still marked it on my calendar. And now it's come. In full glory. Or, non-glory, that is. What were they thinking, not supporting Firefox? Are they too another company wishing to boost only Microsoft products? Ugh, of all I have to deal with. Anyway, I opened up IE, got up the website.. and watched all the anime they had, excluding Naruto(I already have that episode on a DVD ;x).

... I can't exactly say that I liked everything. Almost everybody on the ANN forums are complaining wildly about the low quality dubs Hikaru no go, Prince of Tennis, and MAR got, so perhaps that's why I didn't enjoy the shows to their full extent. Although, I've never seen the originals with subs before, and I can't exactly say that I was a major fan of PoT and Hikaru to begin with. :x I don't know, but I can't really seem to be interested in shows basically revolving around sports, etc.
..The dub for MAR was okay, and I think it might have been the anime I enjoyed the most from Jetstream. None the less, I'll probably continue watching them all, since they're free.

                 Yay, everyone can be happy now, because I kept to my word and am updating today! ^_^ Only, I didn't edit my last entry or it would be long... :p long, you hear? @_@;

         Well, there's quite a lot to say.. mainly the stuff that doesn't matter. :p For example, I've been so used to typing all summer, that when I finally picked up a pencil and wrote actual words... it was all wobbly and sloppy.. ;_;
Anyways, yesterday, I got the June Newtype from the library(<---- too expensive to buy every month :p), plus I bought the July issue from the B&N... so I'm practically on a Newtype reading marathon. -_-'
I must say. though, Newtype is probably the only way I'm able to watch different animes from their preview DVDs. :x No more cheesy CN stuff. :p

   ..speaking of CN... that reminds me of Naruto... and that reminds me of Chapter 314. XD ..... The recent chapters have been getting... well, weird none the less. :p
*Possible spoilers ahead :x*

              See, two more Akatsuki members have been introduced... and I think one of them shares a strong resemblence to Draco Malfoy.. XD Apparently, he has to go through special ceremonies when he kills people. And also, there's this guy that they both report to.. who has half of his face painted. :x ...Ah, but things got interesting when Kakashi told Naruto how to create a jutsu that would even surpass the Chidori or Rasengan. ...it had something to do with altering the shape and nature of your chakra.. .. At first, I was thinking about the chakra shape that was around Naruto when he was possessed by the 9 taled fox. :x That might have something to do with it, though.

             While I'm at it, I might as well say the rest of the spoilers I have. :/ ..they involve .hack, BTW. I'll start from the beginning. :/

       Basically, yesterday was a huge pain in the process of downloading my .hack//roots. WMP was acting all funky when I tried to play episode 9 on it. o_o First of all, the sound was all messed up.. and second of all.. there was no picture to it. ;_;... I thought there was something wrong with the file, so I downloaded the same file... probably 9 different times.. x_X; Later, I was charged for having run out of free bandwidth and had to pay more money.. ;___;! But, luckily, I downloaded MPC and everything worked well for me. ^_^

Goodness, episode 10 was juicy. :o! It turns out that Ovan's character data is somehow as big as a whole area's data! Of course, Naobi wanted to know the meaning to all this, so he started ripping data from Ovan.. and now poor Ovan's locked in TaN's headquarters.. @_@;
     Because of this, Shino was feeling all sulky and often went to stare at the waterfall.. when Haseo approached her. I suppose she thought he would be Ovan, because of her surprised reaction... but after talking a lot to Haseo she walked up to him and started leaning on him!!!1 Kya! (^ω^)

    Now we all know why Haseo becomes crazy in the .hack//GU+ manga. -_-' ...I should've seen them in order.. --; (<--- no spoilers here! :p)

Erm, I feel like I said a bit too much of nothing, so I'll stop now. -_-;

Seriously, I've done nothing today except for going online. XD Well, that's not really different from other days, though.

..well, I just got done reading the last and final part of the original Densha Otoko posts.. and the residents were right. That place had a very magical feeling to it. Just the fact of seeing Densha Otoko grow out of his "afraid of women" stage to become confident on his dates..! I wish I had somebody like him to hang out with! XD
..it was so sad to see him confess his love to Hermes and then cry... and then the pain of seeing him graduate from the "Singles" forum.. that literally made me break out in tears, as if I had known him all this time.. ;___;
Anyways, I'll update the rest tomorrow.

                  Yes, I'm sorry to all you fanatics out there who are complaining that I'm not updating. I just took a break. ;p ..

..well, actually.. I was at AX backstage for one day.. and the rest at a digital video production camp faaar away. okay? :/
      As for AX backstage... hrm.. I can't say it was the best experience I've been through. You have to deal with all the pervs in the chat room. :p So, basically, we saw old streams of some guy with a camera going through the hallways.. interestingly enough, there weren't many cosplayers that we could see, but they did stream a cosplaying contest.
         ...and Kakashi won, because we all know how hot he is. :} ..they paid no attention to the complexity of his competitor's robot cosplay. -_-;

If any of you are prepared to be blinded by a pixely screened picture, you can see... uh.. parts of Kakashi.

...and then there was AX idol, which I completely missed half of because of my rotten connection. -_-; Not the best thing I've ever seen *cough*trigun voice actor O_O;*cough*...but, yeah...

Unfortunately, I couldn't stay for the Masquerade because I had to wake up at 4:00 AM and leave for camp the next day. Not only did we produce an awesome video, but my folks treated me to more manga than ever before..! o_o; I feel blessed!!11 XD

           ...Well, I was a bit rushed in my selections, but I mainly focused on manga I've never read/heard of before. I picked up Gals! 1, Genshiken 1, Kurogane 1, Knights of the Zodiac 1, Skip Beat 1(absolute favorite), and The Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok 1. I haven't read all of MDLR or Kurogane yet.. so I'll wait a while until I give my 2 cents on them.
    Also, what's interesting about my visit was that I found sole manhwa publisher... I believe it's called Ice Kunion. I didn't really get a good look at what they had to offer, but I definately know they licensed Chocolat.

Because Bandai licensed .hack//roots!! XDXDxD Trust me, I'll be the first person to buy the box set DVDs. I have yet to look at what other publishers are doing, but I do know that Tokyopop is deciding to license some of the dead ADV manga, like Tactics! XD ..now, they have to license MDLR! >:x

...and on other notes, I'm taking a look at the unlicensed seinen version of Densha Otoko and .hack//GU+ scanslations... As for .hack... I got too much of a spoiler because that was after roots. -_-; And as for DO - totally awesome, from what I've seen from chapter 1. All this came from resisting back strain to read the original Densha Otoko translated posts at 2ch... o_O; I'm not even done yet... __|￣|○

           Man, I could continue to brag about kow creative my title names are, but on to the subject.
           This is a short blog entry. XD Basically because I don't have much time to say much and I have to wake up around 9:30 AM to catch the AX stream of the Opening Ceremonies at 10:00.
         Here are a couple of tidbits to walk away with.
- The 250th Answerman is out! I absolutely loved the flake of the week! XD
- Even though I don't watch Transformers, the "trailer" for the live action movie looks good. I might just go see it.
- On Youtube, there's a video which gives a basic tour of CLAMP's studio and shows them working on drawing from series such as XXXholic and Tsubasa.
- Interestingly enough, I found a link on the "cancelations" the Japanese Shonen Jump has had to deal with and get unexpected endings with. Funny that I find this after ranting about what Viz was doing with taking titles out of Jump/Beat.
- And, just to make everyone leave my blog in a controversal mood, I'm adding this story about how some Canadians are trying to stereotype everything Japanese into "porn". -_-; I got so angry at this article.

Goodbye everyone, for tomorrow I'll be at AX...! :D At least at the streams.. :x
